Ideas for the Next Meet Up

Hey guys, been a fun summer so far. We threw out a few ideas at the last meet up and ill rehash them here:

Central Park

Fort Tyrone Park Cloisters

Coney Island again haha (maybe we can start from brighton beach this time)

A few more that I looked into:
Staten Island Ship Graveyard (may be breaking and entering/ tough in summer foliage)

Bronx Zoo (suggested donation weds)

I like all those ideas, especially the ship graveyard.

How is the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens? I haven't been there but have heard it is quite nice.

Chinatown? Been once before

Top of the Rock? never been

The Ship Graveyard would be my first choice !
But, If Stan could get access to Governors Island, that would also be interesting.

I won't be able to participate in a MeetUp until Saturday, September 3rd., if anyone else is available.

I would like a another crack at Governors island if there was special access. I didnt spend nearly enough time and was rushed when I went.

Let me add DUMBO to the list. Steve and I talked about it at the Battery Park City meetup.

Also, I've heard that there's an old smallpox hospital on roosevelt island which has just re-opened to the public that could be a lot of fun. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smallpox_Hospital

My VIP access to Governor's Island was through member Fotoguy20d. Maybe he'd be willing to help us out again...
