Just an idea: I thought it might be good to have a quickload-style holder available for larger formats. This would be a single holder with user-refillable envolopes. What do you guys think?

I think someone tried this in 4x5 about 15-20 years ago. Was it Miido? And of course, there was also the venerable graphlex back.

Whether there is enough of a market for something in larger/odd formats is a real question.

Mido made thin, compact holders for larger formats. His first 4x5" design used something like reloadable envelopes, if I understand them correctly, and the Mido II were more like a thin version of a regular filmholder that used a clamshell adapter so they would have the correct registration. I've seen Mido II holders in 4x5", maybe 5x7", 8x10", and 4x10". They are usually expensive and hard to find in the larger sizes.
