Hi Robert, Thanks!roteague said:Hmmm... I wonder if Bill would consider shooting a roll or two of Velvia on his next trip.

Actually I did take color on all 4 trips, but they became more tourist snaps than anything. Although they are not close to what you could do with the place, you can see a couple collections of my personal d*gi-snaps of 2 of my trips at the following links. They'll give you a basic idea of what is there.

Not to mention alot of the images are also poor compositions and rather uninteresting.

This is just your personal opinion, and we don't all have to share it. Not everyone is out to photograph the obvious, the spectacular: some find a quiet oddness, a characteristic, that others miss. In this case, my opinion is that you have missed it.
But that is just my opinion.
Best,
Helen

a what?
Exactly. Iceland is a land of wonders to be interpreted in many, many ways. I choose the land because it is what my people do. It offers a unique palate in that it is not the familiar landscape we all see time and time again in all styles of photographs (yet). The land is but the tip of the iceberg, if you'll forgive the pun.Helen B said:Not everyone is out to photograph the obvious...
