ICA Zeiss Ikon 13x18 cm Universal Jewul Camera. Bases on the serial number on the 21cm f/4.5 Tessar lens, this camera appears to have been made just before the merger of ICA into Zeiss Ikon. Considering that this camera is about 95 years old it is in excellent used condition. Front standard a bit hard to pull out if you grip the the two vertical pins but works fine when you pull by the base of the front standard. I don’t have a shutter tester but the Compound shutter fires at appropriate even intervals through the whole range of speeds. The triple extension bellows are intact and supple. bubble level still works. This is the camera that was supposedly Ansel Adams favorite in the immediate pre war period. There are many pictures of him using the 9x12 version of the camera but it must be remembered that he was a Zeiss Ikon “artist.” No holders. $300 shipped in CONUS.
