Daniel Jiménez has asked me to post a link for anyone wanting details of ICA cameras and their plate holders. He has place 3 catalogues online here and also lists the plate holder numbers. Some ICA cameras continued with the Zeiss Ikon badge. .

He's put sometime into his listings from the catalogues and wishes them to be available to anyone interested.

I've also been re-drawing some images from catalogues to help identify German metal plate holder types/fit and hope to get them finished after Christmas. Anyone using pre-WWII German metal plate cameras will know that was not a standard set of plate holders, while the film & later films were standard sizes the outside dimensions and edge type of the holders varies.

thank you for the great link! I am a big Zeiss Ikon fan, still looking for a good 207/1 Maximar...

in the moment, my Contessa Nettel Sonnar is fit for work. It has the great "Sonnar" Name as the Contessa Nettel Trademark "Sonnar" was used for the new fast FX lenses after the merger (Contax in 1932)

A Maximar is a great camera as it has a very well made metal camera body, my sonnar is still wood...
Take the superb Compur shutter from Deckel Munich and the Tessar 4.5/135 lens CZJ. perfect Camera with a roll film back...
