I was told primes are sharper. The pics prove otherwise. I never owned an fd prime.

The FD 28 - 85 f4 zoom is also an excellent medium range zoom that also provides good optical properties .

This is my do-it all walkaround lens Jeff on a Canon FD body in a Lowepro zoomster case, it's a light and versatile outfit I can easily carry all day.
