I was doing my semi-annual film order from B&H this week, when I noticed that they had a B&W film Called Vibe Photo 400. I tossed a couple of rolls on my order, and I am wondering what when where and How this fits in.
film came in a cardboard box, with the branding in metalic foilhot stamping. Box is mostly in english, But has some claims on both sides in French. apperently it provides very clear quality of impressions, and clarity and rich colour. (neet trick for Black and white film)
Inside the box, their is a plastic film can that loks simalar to those used by Fuji. in the can is a plastic Snap together cassette like those used by CineStyle, or Flic Film. the film leader looks like a generic B&W film. (not dark like the GR3 400 or ORWO N75) it has KS perforations and the short leader is cut in a way that the cuts bisect the perforations.
the box has a printed expiry date of 2024.12 and say the film is made in the EU, although the box does not name any distributor, or indicate where it is assembled. Cassette does not have DX code. Box has a bar code of 8 56960 00003 7. The cassette itself is labeled with a Plastic label and has a bar code of 016041
inside the box it gives a development time of 8 minutes in HC 110-B, D76 or ID11 Stock, and Xtol.
It might be a while beofre I get to play with this further, But would be curious what other folks know about it?
