I was going through my negs and found these, I really miss shooting the Horseman 810. I have not sold it yet and it has a new 40 inch bellows. I really want to try my 19 3/4" Copying Ektanon and my 24" RD Artar. I'm just not sure I can sell it all...
The girl is on HP5+ with a 19" RD Artar wide open in an Ilex and the flowers are on a G-Claron 150 in barrel. I know I could light both better now too.
I have the same camera. Sure is a heavy beast, isn't it? When you've dragged that thing out in the woods, you've hauled quite a load. You should see mine on top of my Leitz Tiltall. Just about snaps it in two like a twig.
I'm sure I can go through this computer and find most of it, if you're intent. Essentially you're removing the rear L-arm and using the camera's own pieces to put the camera back together. Naturally you lose rear movements, but with an 8x10 how often do you need all that? And since you haven't destroyed anything you can convert it back.
Turns out that thread was on photonet. Since I have no intention of doing studio work, the loss outweighs the gain, pardon the pun. Anyway, get out there and use that monster.
I love shooting. When I'm shooting film I'm convinced thats where my heart is. When I'm shooting LF I'm convinced it's the best format in the world. And when I'm shooting MF I'm convinced I'm an MF'r cuz it's the best format in the world. And when I'm shooting digital I'm convinced it's the best...
