I really miss ______ film

Verichrome Pan, Panatomic X, Polaroid Type 55. I liked Kodachrome, but didn't really shoot much of it the last 25 years, used it a lot more in the early 1960's.

Verichome Pan and Portriga Rapid 111 before they took the the cadmium out of it.

I miss Kodachorme...regret not getting into it more while it was still available....oh wait...this is a B&W thread....I miss the look of 1950's B&W pictures...and wish I knew how to get that look today....could just be me, or my workflow, or ignorance....yea, yea...it's my ignorance....still learning, practicing....

The film I miss the most is the roll that was SUPPOSED to be in my camera that one time when I took the best stinkin' photos ever!

The fast, grainy color stuff that explodes into pastels when you diffuse in-camera and push it.

That's Fuji Superia 1600, isn't it? Though I don't quite know what you mean by "diffuse in-camera". A soft-focus lens or filter? The halos should really look interesting with grain structure superimposed on them.

I miss Kodak HIE quite a lot.
All the Polaroid 4x5 films.
And now Fuji Reala 100 in 120!
Sniff

The only film I really miss is Agfa Portrait XPS 160 because it made all my colour portraits look like they were painted by Rembrandt.

One and a half things.

Forte Polygrade V paper. I can't say I miss Agfa Brovira, because I didn't use it in its heyday. I happened upon a box of G2 and G3 each in 11x14 that was basically perfect still, and the prints were sublime. So, if I can miss something without having actually been a user, it's Agfa Brovira. But I would settle for Forte Polygrade any day of the week.

Not me , how would I have met all you wonderful folks.

I miss Ilfomar silver gelatin paper and for the life of me do not know why Simon will not make it again.

ME TOO!!!!!!!.EC

I too miss Panatomic-X. It was a truly unique film and sadly there is no substitute for it.

Kodachrome, period.

Nothing like it before, during, or after. Discontinuing Kodachrome was like ripping the photographic heart and soul out of America.
