I think you can still see it on MWClassics' website.

They have lots of nice stuff, but they seem to be sceptical to exporting it. i tried twice to buy the Gandolfi tripod they're still listing, but never heard a word from them. My credit card wasn't debited either, so I guess that's all right. And i found another (cheaper) Gandolfi tripod.

I'm sure they'll be quicker with the ebay transaction!

I've managed to avoid working offshore Denmark this year but I may well volunteer for a trip early next yaer. If so, I'll come visiting as soom as I'm back on dry land!

I'm happy, too!

Let's see...

There's the big ugly Russian 30x40cm one,
The beautiful German 18x24cm one,
The Gandolfi 5x7",
The first 13x18cm Reisekamera with the iris lens mount (that's what I was after when I bought it),
This new old 13x18 Reisekamera which I wanted for the casket lens set,
The more "utilitarian" 4x5" Linhof Color,
The Rodenstock 9x12cm plate camera with the Eurynar lens on it,
The two (!) Voigtländer 9x12cm ones - a Bergheil and an Avus,
and finally the little 6.5x9cm Voigtländer VAG.

That makes 10 LF and plate cameras in total.

Oh - and there's an 8x10" Gandolfi Traditional in a box, still in parts. Waiting for the metal bits from Gandolfi, then I'll have 11 cameras (unless I buy another one in the meantime, or sell one)!

Well, if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black......

didn't know that frase, but I think I understand..

I don't have that many LF cameras.. (I think)

Sinar Norma with 4 lenses.
GANDOLFI 8x10 with two lenses
Unknown 10x12 with three lenses..
Thornton Pichard 13x18 (I think)
Gandolfi Half plate with lens and stereo lenses.
"The Manchester" half plate
30x40 cm arriwing soon
and a Studio Meyer goerlitzer camera on stand...

(some smaller stuff that doesn't really count)
that's "only" 8 .....

but then again..
I also have
a Rolleiflex SL66 "E" with three lenses.
Two hasselblad's with 4 lenses and a lot of outfit..
an Art Deco Rolleicord

three Topcon's (two RE Super DM) with about 11 lenses...

odds and pieces..not really counting..

looking at it, it looks like a small museum...

then again,... if you had seen all the cameras I have had...
If I were rich, I'd proberly be a collector...

being curious I actually think it could be nice to have a up-loading site where we could "show off".. some of or gems..

ex, I would really like to see a good image of a Deardorff.. I have only seen bad ones.

I've got some of mine at Dead Link Removed - as well as one I no longer have.

Some day I'll have to get around to taking digisnaps of the rest of the cameras too!

UPdate

I just got this camera and it looks SO sweet.
Small, but beautiful with dark mahogany colours.
an original leather case went with it - four double cassettes; each in its own sewn holder..
the Camera is in really good condition. no scratches anywhere - almost none under it. I doubt it have been used much..(before now )

OLE: the shutter is a "wallis Patent shutter".. (havn't seen that before..)

question: how many cameras on one brand do you ned to have before you are a collector? (I'd like to be a GANDOLFI collector....)

OLE: I talked to the museum of photography here in DK and suggested that we did a special GANDOLFI exhibition..
Cameras - tripods and such, along with images taken with these beauties...wanna join? he sounded quite interested..)

Sounds great, Emil!

I'll certainly come and take a look at the exhibition, at least - I have only one Gandolfi in operation, and I'm using it

And a tripod, but I'm using that too. And it has no Gandolfi label...

Oh - and my 8x10" Gandolfi is still not assembled.
