I drive a big bus. It's not the big bus from the movie, that was in the future, mine is run on petrol. I have read this site since before the name change when those of us who dabbled were put on an ice float, I'm glad we're back on land. I might dock the bus and type, otherwise I am photographing out my front window.

Welcome aboard!
Back in the day I occasionally drove a bookmobile. Gerstenslager, 24 or 30 feet long, I don't remember exactly. Onboard Onan generator to run the HVAC and lights, IH engine, air brakes, 4 or 5 speed manual non-synchromesh tranny. First speed was a granny gear.....
It was quite an experience. I felt pretty good when I could downshift smoothly. Smoothly means-literally-no gear grinding!
As someone said earlier, any pictures from the driver's seat? I wish I'd carried a camera with me on my bookmobile runs. Lots of little kids enjoying the visits!

Welcome to the party! Driving a lot brings so many opportunities to explore. I love my routes and adding new spots is always a visual adventure.
