I just wanted to say that I find the pictures posted recently by teasel123 (Alan) to be some of the best and most inspiring that I have seen for a long time.
Technically, they show what can be done with simple, manual focus 35mm cameras (Vivitar 3800n and Pentax MX) and put to shame some of us who are always lusting after more equipment.
Aesthetically they show a good understanding of composition and an eye to find a picture where a lot of us would just walk past without seeing it.
Have a look here: (there was a url link here which no longer exists)
My favourite (so far): (there was a url link here which no longer exists)
Sorry but I had to mention it!
Steve.
