In my village we have a word for it.. Cuci mata (Indonesian) — litteraly wash your eyes, but it's more about refreshing your eyes, looking at pretty things..

I suddenly got GAS about getting new binoculars. Have no clue where that came from. I've been watching YouTube binocular reviews, reading all about them, trying to come up with excuses for the missus why it's imperative I get one now, etc. Fortunately, the one I wanted, a Nikon Monarch 7 8x42, was back-ordered at B and H. Unfortunately, I:m now convincing myself I need something better that they have available. It's a sickness I tell you, a real malady.

I have the diamondback 10x50 and very happy with them. Small amount of slop in the focus system tho.I had that last year and settled for a Vortex Diamondback 8x42. Very good bang for the buck.
