Thank you all for the advice, I developed my first roll of film Ilford Delta 100 in HC110. The scans are in my gallery

Bill

Congratulations, Ive posted a response to one of the images. Im fairly new to this game as well - how stressed were you when you took the lid off the dev tank ? I thought I was about to burst

Congratulations again- Enjoy

Congrats Bill. I remember when I dev'd my first roll of film. I had no idea what I was doing, just following a piece of paper with instructions. It was the coolest feeling pulling the film off the reels.

Well done. Producing images on a film base or paper is always magical.

Great job, Uncle Bill!!! :D I knew you could do it!

Great Bill, U Can do it, Congrats

Way to go Bill,

It's a great feeling isn't it? I like the feeling of anticipation and possibilities.

Seems like magic to me every time! Even better is developing paper -- watching the print appear in the developer. I wish I still had room for a wet darkroom, but I content myself with developing film in my bathroom.

There is something magical you get when you pull your film fresh from the soup. Something digital can't give you. I have only processed 3 rolls of film my self and each time has put a smile on my face.

I would check your scans out but I am not a subscriber
