Hello,
After seeing the price increase of Permawash I decided to give ZONALpro a try. Now, for FB papers they claim that after the archival soak the final wash should be only 5min. The label also says it reduces the final washing time by 80-90%. This sounds great. Has anyone tried it? I printed last night and and I washed for 1h after using this product. I should have tested my prints for residual fixer to see if could have used a shorter final wash.
I have been printing in my own darkroom for a while now, but I still have some doubts about my washing time. With Permawash I washed for 1h in my versalab print washer and still got a faint yellow mark after checking for residual fix.
How do you wash your prints in your process?
Thanks,
Axel
