were there any apuggers there last week? I was there camping with the family and noticed a gentleman there with a large format camera getting ready to shoot it...I never got a chance to talk with him...if you ever get the chance to go it is a beautiful place...wonderful beach, lots of different kinds of birds, alligators, plenty of beach wildlife, the Atalaya Castle (an odd home of the Huntingtons that was built in the 1930's, odd b/c it was built to ressemble a Moorish Castle, all brick, very cold, you just don't see many of these beach front in South Carolina)...I highly recommend visiting if you are ever in the Myrtle Beach, SC area...

I've been there with a large format camera but not last weekend. Have you been to Brookgreen Gardens?

we never made it over there...we intended to...we toured Atalaya, went to Hobcaw, and into Georgetown in one day, but spent the rest of the time in the park...everyone said that Brookgreen was definitely something to see...
