Up for sale is my HP Z31x 31.1" 17:9 DreamColor Studio Cinema 4K IPS Display.

This monitor stands out for its color accuracy - it has a built-in color calibrator and was factory calibrated as well - see attached screenshot.

I'm not a colorist by any means but I understand that the color performance of this monitor is a cut above your average 4K monitor.

Here's a review: https://www.techradar.com/reviews/hp-dreamcolor-z31x-studio-display

And here's a link to the B&H page with marketing copy and tech specs: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1388947-REG/hp_z4y82a4_aba_31_1_dreamcolor_z31x_studio.html

Note that the monitor does take about 10 seconds to awake from sleep and that HP recommends the monitor be turned on for at least 30 minutes before serious use to allow for the colors to stabilize.

Due to size, looking to sell within the NYC/NJ area but could be open to shipping since I do have the box.

$600 OBO.

Trying something different - putting up this monitor for trade.

Ideally I'd like a print from a large format camera, printed using traditional darkroom processes (no inkjet prints).

Also open to gear trades - I'm a Leica M / Olympus OM shooter.

If I receive multiple trade offers, I reserve the right to choose at my discretion.

I'll cover shipping on my side if you cover shipping on yours.

Previous ad copy (with some additions) in quotes below:

It might help if you indicated where you are located. And you may wish to mention whether you would be willing to ship to other countries.
And I see you have discovered one internet sales truism - it is impossible to take an interesting photograph of a computer monitor!
Hope you work out something.

Thanks Matt. I reported the other thread for merging.

I'm located in the US. I'd have to look at shipping prices to determine if I'd be open to shipping outside the US but feel free to send an offer.

I always forget that a color-calibrated monitor might not be too attractive on APUG where I feel like B&W dominates

And now they are merged.
I think that colour correction is a lot more popular now - particularly since we stopped being "APUG" .
