There is an optional illuminated transparency holder which scans medium format film (not included), which often can be bought inexpensively on eBay.
All the software is included for easy faxing, LAN networking, using business templates, and making color copies right at your desk. This scanner will not run on Windows 7 operating system. I've used it with Windows XP/XP Pro and it runs perfectly.
