I am just starting my film journey with a Bronica Zenza S2a. It's quite the experience and I'm eager to continue learning. I just sent off my first 2 rolls of film to be developed and I am eagerly awaiting the results! I'm located in the Pacific Northwest, US.

I also am a veteran on some other popular forums: DPReview and FredMiranda where I've been a member for over 15 years each.

Welcome. Someone who owns a camera with such a nice patina must have accumulated quite a bit of knowledge

Welcome! As others have said - this is a very welcoming and civil place. Very glad to have you join the community!

A friend started me on my medium format journey back in the 1990's when they lent me an S2A with a Nikkor 75mm lens and a couple of backs. It was a very straightforward camera with a very satisfying ka-thwack when the mirror/shutter fired. Fond memories!

I like to think I know a thing or two. Decided to try film to work slower and appreciate the process more.

BTW I have purchased my S2a with lens, Zenzanon 150mm f3.5 MC and Zenzanon 50mm f2.8 MC all from Japan and had it shipped to the states. Those Japanese shops seems to have all of the mint film gear these days. So far I've been thrilled with the condition of everything I've received.

It definitely has a kathunk! I was shooting in a nearby town, had just taken a shot when a couple started a conversation with me because they heard me taking pictures.
