Hey guys, just wondering how weatherproof the F5 is. Are all the buttons sealed with O rings? How about the dials to change the shutter speed or aperture? How about the film rewind knob?

So no heavy downpours? I used to shoot in heavy rain with my pentax spotmatic which isn't sealed really.

Yeah, but the nikon is supposed to be sealed against moderate to heavy weather, right?

Marko, I don't know how well the camera is sealed, but to be on the safe side you can wrap it in a plastic bag to be sure. Either get a bag big enough for the camera and your hands, or just big enough for the camera. Add a couple of rubber bands for the lens and eyepiece and instant waterproofing!

I have 2 or 3 olé beaters that I use in wet weather.Get yourself one and park that F5 at home when the weathers bad.Hate to see it get fried.
