All F2 bodies are the same, either chrome or black paint. The type of accessories, specifically the prism finder, will dictate the model camera. Check the MIR SITE for detailed info on prism types.

The first two digits of the serial number are said to be the year of manufacture, though i can't state that with any authority.

As mentioned above, the F2's are all the same (apart from the obvious chrome and black), only the prism fitted differentiates between the F2 (DE1), F2S (DP1), F2SB (DP2), F2A (DP11) and F2AS (DP12).
