I have a Nikon F4 and I want to sell. The LCD's have bleeding and I want to show the bleeding. How do I take picture of the inside view of the viewfinder?

You can use a smartphone camera

That's how I do it too.

Simply hold the lens to the viewfinder until you are satisfied with the image. If you have multiple lenses on your smartphone or zoom options, just try it out.

Here from the viewfinder of one of my Nikon F4.

I also turned on the LCD lighting.

The lower display already has artistic value šŸ˜

This is one of the few times I consider a phone camera truly the best tool for the job.

The typical taking lens on a phone camera is the perfect size to fit right up to the eyepiece of most cameras and give a reasonably accurate view. It’s especially easy with a big high eye point finder like the F4, but I’ve used my phone camera to show Leica M rangefinders and other small ones too when selling.
