OK, I'm sure I'm missing something here .... how hard could this be? So, I have an Aristo cold light head and am trying to mount it to an Omega D2. Does anyone have a photo that shows the proper configuration for this? If I take off the condenser head, then I can't use the brackets on the side to hold the head on. That doesn't seem safe to me, having it sit on top of the negative stage with no support.

It seems there should be a way to connect this to the aluminum arms on the side, but I didn't get anything like that with the head. Maybe I'm missing parts?

Anyone got this to work? Throw me a line here - I'm starting to feel stupid.

If you are referring to one of the round, single-tube Aristo heads, they slip inside of the cylindrical aluminum housing in place of the condenser lenses. First the plastic diffusing disc, then on top of that the head housing itself. The original Omega condenser housing - minus the condenser lenses - stays in place and serves to support the Aristo unit.
