Greetings to all --

A client of mine wants to purchase a few large (expensive) images for display in the lobby of a residential apartment building (no doorman.)

In the past, they have had a problem with pictures disappearing, and have asked me for suggestions to reduce the possibility of this happening in the future.

I believe the framed photos will be hung on painted sheetrock.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions --

Ned Otter

Why not screw it throught the edge of the frame directly into each stud behind the sheetrock? Then carefully paint or cover the screw heads.

thanks

Thanks to all who have repied. I think one of the solutions mentioned will work out.

Best wishes,

Ned

The locking systems available are at least as secure as screws through the frame. I think screws just say,"Bring your screw driver and I am yours."
