Have you considered using some kind of basic content management software to take care of all those links you're having to enter manually? You could adapt the gallery plugins for packages like Wordpress or Movable Type and take care of the whole site from one interface -- and focus more on the content and less on the minutae...

Pentaxuser ~ Thank you for your input. I've spent a few hours perusing other "unknowns" photography sites. Here is where my hesitation lies... I'm finding a ton of unknown photographers who are just slightly less for their DIGITAL INKJET prints, than I am charging for my fiber base, wet chemical darkroom prints. There's just something in me that cringes at the idea that a digital print would sell for more than an "analog" print. Thus my hesitation to reduce my prices. I've also found other "well known" photographers pricing their fiber base prints anywhere between $1000-$5000/each ($5K is often for the last 5 prints in the set). It seems that I'm well under the price of those folks who are "established". I think I may wait a while on any price decrease and see how the website traffic continues... see if I get any bites on the "featured print" for $100 & $200 first.

But, sincerely, I do apreciate you stopping in and posting to the thread.

Susan, it may have already been said, but it's not the asking price that is important, rather the price received. Like Gay I have found this thread of use, and will incorporate much of the advice offered into my next site.

Dave ~ Agreed on the 'price received'. I've since lowered my print prices to original levels ($150/$300). Getting more and more hits on the site. Averaging 100+/day for the past week. Hopefully, I'll bump into a buyer. At the very least, people are getting an initial impression of the style and subject matter that I photograph. Maybe that will lead to interest in viewing a print in person (crossing fingers).

At any rate, I'm glad that the thread has helped others. I'm glad that so many of you responded to me, even though I was an absolute unknown in this forum. Your input has been graciously received on my end. Thank you.

Now.... who wants to argue about which is better: reflected metering or incident metering, fiber or RC, analog or damn-it-all... oooops, I mean "dig-i-tal". Wow, that's a tough word to pronounce. Guess I'll find these debates in other threads. LOL
