How to get light swirl on film ?

This artist uses a Holga120S with using a remodeled board. I don't understand what a remodeled board is. I think she uses Fujichrome 120 format color film or the Velvia color film.

I want to learn how to do this with 35mm and 120 film. Does anyone know ?

I think this came up once before and people said just to point the camer to the sun.
