Along with my "new" Speed Graphic I received various pieces of Graflex literature, including a booklet of 12 of so pages describing how to set up a Kalart rangefinder for different focal lengths and even fine-tune it for a particular lens example. I haven't seen this booklet before - if anyone is interested, PM me and a PDF file can be yours!

Regards,

David

My booklet covers much the same ground but is slightly different (a few years more modern). 2 copies sent to inquirers.

Have had numerous requests for this and have responded to all (I think). If you don't receive your file today, please PM me again (as can anyone else who is interested). Please don't forget your private e-mail and state whether you can receive a 15.5 MB file as a mail attachment - if not, I've got a 1.1 MB version as well.

David: I received the file (the small one is fine - very readable).

I am new to Kalarts and Speed Graphics, and can now say, without a doubt, that my Kalart is totally different from any shown in any of the various manuals I've been able to see! I have the external adjustment screw mounted on the housing, but no lever arm inside for it to push. I have a bottom mirror instead of a prism. The bottom mirror is mounted oo a forked arm with a screw that seems to adjust the separation between the forks (to what effect I can't tell). I found how to adjust the scales and also how to adjust the side-to-side, as it's similar to the various instructions I have. I have not been able to turn my 1943 Anniversary Speed Graphic's cam to make it work with a 127mm Ektar yet. Any pointers, anyone?
