Ever since the discovery of my experimental Polarizing/UV/ND filter, Which has been working very well on my Canon M6, I've wanted to mount the slotted filter holder onto my Holga 120N camera. Then realized that I had extra lens rings that came with my Ranger filter adapter kit as purchased from Amazon. test fitting the 52mm lens ring onto the front of the Holga 120N camera, I then mounted the ring into the slotted filter holder. At first this setup worked very well. But over time the slotted filter (with filter attached) kept falling off the Holga lens. Thinking quick, I located a small piece of tin foil and bend/formed it over the inner edge of the lens ring. Then remounted or press fit the lens ring with slotted filter holder back onto the camera. Although the lens ring is threaded, the Holga lens is not but again the 52mm lens ring will fit/press fit securely over the outer edge of the Holga lens. So just in case you want to test or continue to use your 85mm x 100mm etc filters on your Holga camera, you now have an alterative.

Even after adding the filter, I have yet to notice any major difference with how the film looks. but I'll still keep the slotted filter adapter on the camera at all times.

Got an old slotted filter holder with 2-3 rings that I use in a similar manner. In my case have used epoxy to fit step-up filter adapter rings to lenses that aren’t threaded for filters and then screw in the filter holder in the usual manner.
It’s hard to tell for sure but it looks like you have wrapped tape around the top of the filter, is that correct?

As I said within my post, this is an experimental polarizing/UV/ND filter of my own creation. I was able to acquire this resin type material from the shop as they were going to throw this out. I scored and broke a piece of this to a size of 85mm x 100mm. The electricians tape is there to help protect my hand from getting cut when extracting the filter if needed. I'm currently working on a better way to cut this material instead of just scoring and snapping in half. I realize this is a crude attempt at using a home made filter on any of my cameras. The only thing I've noticed is the Canon M6 likes this filter based on the Black & white images taken with the Canon. But I've not seen any major discolorations or acescents to those images taken with the Holga while this filter is in place. There's no distortion or vignetting while this filter is in place.
