How should I shoot 5-month-expired Superia 1600?

I just received several rolls of 5-month-expired (Feb 2016) Superia 1600 from Amazon. Should I do anything special when shooting them? Meter different at all? Push during development?

I wouldn't even consider it expired yet.Shoot it normally.To me this film looks better rated at 1200.

A film expiration date (really a use by this date) is essentially an intelligent guess by the manufacturer based on several factors But it is none the less a guess. In this case I really wouldn't worry unless the film was mistreated.

Agreed....the "expiry date" is the date the manufacturer guarantees (or, at least, suggests) that, given storage in accordance with their recommendations, the results will (for practical use) be unchanged from the film when new. Bearing in mind that film isn't like fresh food, but deteriorates only very gradually, you should be fine treating the film as being fresh and metering and processing as normal.

I shot a roll of Superia Venus 400 that was 6 years or so expired and been sitting on a shelf in the sun. Couldn't notice any difference.
I regularly shoot Superia/Natura 1600. You can shoot that film between 100 - 1600 iso no problems at all.
