How photographers comb through own work

A bit presumptuous. Have you considered how many of those framed prints might end up in the attic, facing the wall?

Spaceballs was very broad humor (and very funny). Iron Sky and Space Janitors are more snarky and subtle. Very highly recommended.

The wincing comes from realizing how defect my vision and technique have been in the past. I suppose when I look at today's work in 20 years, I'll feel the same way ... if I'm still here.

Usually, a friend or family member will comment positively about a print they see, and that's when I make them one. I never pay for framing and matting, though.

A friend, a commercial artist, who has since passed away, used a depiction of me in one of his oils. He wanted $1500 for it commercially. So after a few years of not selling it, I asked him if he'd sell it to me. I don't remember who came up with the price, but I paid him $500. He added the goose posing for me. Mel had a good sense of humor. Here it is hanging on the wall behind me.

I leave them in piles, take a digital image and leave them in files. Don't have any interest in digital photography except for record keeping.Not terribly retrospective and prefer to work on something new. Display my latest on social media. Have no great interest in books, magazines and galleries, prefer nobodies who post up on social media. Don't care for any great opinions, would rather do as I please and like what I want.
