How much dry mount pressure?

Hello everyone!
For how much pressure should I set my dry mount press for best results?
Model: Technal 500 (single point pressure)
Is there a way to do it without any "pressure measurement equipment" (if any)?

I'm not sure about your model, but on a Seal 210, the handle should be at about a 45 degree angle with all the mounting materials in the press with the platen resting on the stack, before you lock it down.

For me, I have 5 mat boards - two on top, two on the bottom, and the board with the print to be mounted in the middle. With that arrangement, the handle is about 45 deg.
