Hi
I want to make my own D-76, I have all products but in Anchell (1994) p. 118-119, we have 2.0 grams/Litre in the formula and the notes, he said ''The "official'' published formula for D-76 recommends using 29.0 grams of borax for the accelerator. However, in its packaged Eastman Kodak uses Balanced Alkali. If desird, Balanced Alkali may be subtituted weight for weight for borax. Development time should be decreased by approximately 15% to compensate for the higher pH''.
Why this big difference between 2 and 29 grams for the same revelator?
When I use commercial D-76 saying 11minutes 20 degree Celcius. Am I supposed to add 15% more time if I use 2 grams of borax with the mobrew D-76? I'm confused.
Regards
