How many systems do you use?

So who here regularly uses different systems? Which ones?

I started with Nikon, but then the draw of Zeiss and Leica lenses means I now have contax and r mount systems... And I wanna try some fd lenses...

And do fixed lens cameras qualify as a "system"?

By "system" do you include for instance Linhof Technica, with specific accessories and lensboards, or are you restricting it to 35mm?
In 35, I use Nikon bodies and lenses and goodies for SLR and Contax/Kiev plus 35 to 135 lenses and goodies for RF. BUT I have 5 or 6 42mm bodies and several lenses, 2 Olympus bodies and several lenses, a Canon FTb that I plan to get 2 or 3 lenses for 'cause I really like the body and the lenses are real bargains, a couple Canon IIb 39mm screwmount bodies and assorted odd lenses, a FED 5 and Zorki S, also quite a few fixed lens cameras in 16mm submini, 35, and 120, plus a couple extinct formats.
So, two "working" (SLR and RF) systems in 35, the rest of the 35s and the oddballs are for purposes of amusement.

One - nearly all of my 35mm equipment is Nikon, except for one Canon AE1 body w/50 1.4 .

I haven't used the Canon in years, but I keep it because it was my first slr, acquired when I was in high school.

Only one for MF too - Yashica.

First the Minolta SLR system which I sold off when I got into the Nikon system. Then I went to the original system: Hasselblad [38mm to 500mm].

I use film and digital systems.

For my film systems, I use large format, medium format, and small format systems.

For large format film, I use 4x5 and 8x10 inch cameras.

For medium format, I use 6x9, 6x7, and 6x6cm cameras.

For small format, I only use 35mm cameras.

My most complete and extensive 35mm system is Nikon. I can use a variety of lenses, motor drives, view screens, viewfinders, film backs, and other accessories to configure the cameras for any type of assignment.

I also have a limited number of Leica, Pentax, Argus, Contax, Canon, and Fuji bodies, lenses, and accessories that I can use when necessary.

If so, I use only one 35mm camera system.

Four, at the moment (In one of my more questionable decisions, I jettisoned my 4x5 system several years ago; now pondering a repurchase): Hasselblad for my 120 work (landscapes/nature/architecture/"fine art"), Nikon 35mm for just about everything, Leica rangefinders (M4P, M4, M6s) for "street photography," and Nikon digitals (with, heaven forbid, AF(S, D) ED glass), for things that need to be shot in a hurry.

I have a SRT101 and several lenses (with a X700 as well)
but my main go to is my Canon AE1P with several lenses and flash units. 188A, 155A and Sunpak 522 Auto. (with two AE1 bodies as spares)
Not counting the T6i DSLR and lenses.

Rolleiflex, 80mm (if that counts as a system)
Leica/Zeiss Ikon with (mainly) 50mm
Nikon, both film and « alternative technology », with a few lenses but the most used are 50, 85 and micro-nikkors.

IF we're confining to 35mm, then it's a Contax RTS III. I sold off my Contax G2 system to get a Mamiya RZ67 and lenses. I use medium format far more than anything else, and I have two "systems" in that size - the Mamiya RZ, and two Rolleiflexes - a pair of 2.8E's and a Tele-Rolleiflex. In large format, I have a Sinar system, and a bunch of different field cameras.

I have 35mm SLR's in 5 mounts, OM, PK, MD, M42, and Pen F (film). But as a 'system', more than one lens etc., then the only systems I have are both Olympus. That would be OM mount, with 6 primes from 24mm to 200mm and Olympus Pen F with 4 primes from 20mm to 100mm. The PK mount is a Sears KS-500 (Ricoh KR-5) with a standard 50mm f2 Ricoh lens, the MD mount is a rescue from Value Village, a Minolta SRT-McII with a 50 f1.7 Rokkor, and the M42 is a Fujica ST605n fitted with a 55mm f2.8 Vivitar macro (infinity to 1:1), That's about it except for a dozen or so other fixed lens random cameras in 35mm and 6X6.

The 2 35mm systems I use are Pentax and Nikon, I love my Pentax LX I think it is better than a nikon F3, but I also love my Nikkormat FT2 and my F2A
There are some lenses that only Nikon made, and some lenses that Pentax made better versions.

With medum format I use a Rollei SL66 or a bronica ETRsi and a Bronica GS1 systems depending on what I want to photograph, The ETRsi has a motor drive TTL flash and zoom lenses, The SL66 can do basic shift and you can reverse the lenses for macro work, you can even adapt odd ball lenses to it. The Bronica GS1 is the lightest 67 SLR made and you can change film format by switching backs it does 645 6x6 and 6x7 I never bothered to get the ttl flash, If I need that I use the ETRsi and a metz

Every System camera has its strength and weakness it just depends on what sort of photography you want to do, I don't personalty think any one system is better than the other, the important thing is you take photos and buy film

Good grief, I am a "sampler." My favorite is the Chamonix 4x5 with 1920s lenses. Also use lenses form 1840s & 1850s on this camera. Next would be Nikon D800E with Sigma ART lenses. Next is Nikon F3T with three AiS lenses, then Leica IIIc with four 1940s Leica LTM lenses. Also shoot a Gundlach Korona 5x7 with 1920s and 1850s lenses, several pre-WW2 German folders (Bessa RF, Cocarette Luxus, 6.5x9 Bergheil), Kodak Brownie No. 2 from 1904 and 1932, and a Kodak Panoram from 1909. Oh, and a really nice 1955 Rolleiflex MX2! Plus misc. small cameras like an Ansco Memo and a Kodak Bantam (828). Eventually will buy a Hassleblad system and also plan to get into wet plate 5x8 stereo at some point. Might even try 8x10 in years to come.

For 35 mm I have only one 'real' system (with various lenses, focussing screens, finders, flashlight...) = Nikon F2.
I also have a Nikon FM and two fixed lens rangefinder cameras (Konica III, Olympus XA).

For 120 medium format I got a Bronica ETRSi (with three lenses, WLF, prism finder and two backs), a pair of FUJI GA645 (60mm + 45mm lenses), a FUJI GW670iii and a FUJI GSW690ii, a Zeiss Super Ikonta III 531/16 and a Rolleiflex 3.5F.

Too many...... not good for my photography therefore I decided to limit myself to using only a few camera's and lenses, digital and analog. The more camera's and lenses, the more distracting it gets. Camera's and lenses don't make good photo's, only photographers do.
But... since I like playing with stuff, I will allow myself to occasionally play with other systems, like medium and large format, Polaroid, Leica, old Zeiss stuff etc. Just for the fun of playing, not with the intent to make great photo's but I do embrace serendipity.

Olympus OM in the film world but in the digital world I'm a Nikon man, mainly because wife has a Nikon DSLR. Think if I ever bought my own DSLR I'd probably go Canon. Sadly not Olympus because the route they've taken, with mirrorless 4/3rds, is not for me.
