Airport security was what finally pushed me from film to digital.
At SFO, I had a security person tear open my factory sealed boxes of film, then tear open the inner foil pouch to see that there was indeed film in the box. And that was before I saw what she was doing, and then yelled at her to STOP. Sheesh. What would have happened if it was sheet film. shudder.
Today 99.999+% of the security people have no idea of film, so they don't know how to deal with it.

Tip, if you can, get the exposed film developed BEFORE you travel back. That eliminates the possibility of further X-ray fogging of the film.

Ok, bag is packed.
HP5 x 15
C41 400 x 15
C41 160 x 10

40 rolls. If I should need more, I will buy it when i need it.

I splurged by bringing my 21/35/75 kit plus my 28/50.

I could have left the latter two lenses behind but these are tiny rangefinder lenses, I have ample room, and I have specific intentions for each so I'll bring them.

My MO is normally to bring two lenses on an outing, I like the flexibility even if I only use one.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I really appreciate it. I will do my best to both enjoy these precious moments with my family and capture 40 x 38 tiny frames of light on the way.

For 35mm I would pack a roll or two rolls of film a day. When I shoot 35mm I carry two cameras, one for black & white and one for C-41. I have never figured out how to switch film backs mid roll on a 35mm camera. When I shoot 120 film I carry one camera and multiple backs and again a plan a roll or two of black & white and color film per day.
