I think I have around ~50 cameras, shooting from tiny format m4/3 to large format. I shoot whatever is on my hand, currently using EPL-1 with Angenieux f/0.95 len and 35mm Konica Hexar AF

About 20

35mm: 7

Medium format: 2

Large format: 3.25 x 4.25, 5x7, 5x12, 6.5x8.5, 8x10, 11x14, 12x15, 14x17.

and a couple of digi-things.

I use most often the 5x7, 5x12, 6.5x8.5, 14x17 and the Contax G1/G2. The digi-things get exercised occasionally as well. I keep the medium format stuff around when I want to shoot high quality color.

Let's see...

Olympus E-30 digital, Bronica ETRS, Canon T90, Canon T70, Polaroid SX-70 PRONTO, Polaroid 600, Canon QL17 GIII, Olympus XA.
And a Pentax ME super that doesn't flip the mirror anymore that I don't use.

That's 8. 9 if you count the one that doesn't work.

Nothing bigger than 8x10, nothing smaller than 35mm, and lots in between.

Too many, even if I only count the ones that work.

I stopped counting a couple of years ago at 95. I would guesstimate 120 to 130 now. There are still a select few on my want list though I don't really expect to ever find the ones I still want at a price I can afford

I just counted over 50. There are some that I can't find right now. I think that I will inventory them this weekend.

I don't know bout other photogrphers but people just give them to me.

Believe it or not, each one has its one personality.

I use a Canon EOS 630 most of the time.I also enjoy an old Rolliflex and a Mamiya 645 1000. with a left hand grip.

So many cameras so little time!

Is my wife going to see this?

If so, about 10.

If not, about 45

Not in use:

Kodak Instamatic 36 (not in use anymore, but still working);
Polaroid EE44 (going by memory, not working since decades)

In use:

Minolta srT100x

Yashica T3

Minolta X700

Minolta srT101

Nikon FE2

Minolta XM

Sony DSC-R1 (digital)

Voigtländer Vito CLR

Canon Canonet G-III QL

Voigtländer Bessa-L

My cellular phone can take pictures although it sees practically no use.

I also have a disposable film camera in the gloves compartment of my car since ages, that's for the case of car accident, I think in case I would use the camera in my cellular phone instead, but there's no need to remove the camera from there. This very evening somebody broke into my car (damaging the lock but not breaking the glass, thank goodness) and did not take the disposable camera, see where we have arrived.

I miss the smell of instant film, which would bring me back to when I was 15 years old, and the next fit of insanity will probably result in some sort of instant camera just for the smell of it

Fabrizio

PS God save me from the temptation of trying medium format!

PPS I advice to make a list of all your photographic gear (camera, lenses, flashes, light meters whatever) and take a note of each and every serial number. This can be useful in case of theft.
