How many b&w papers exist with creamy base?

Hi Everybody
I've been using a lot of fomatone mg classic lately, and I love this paper.
So that got me thinking how many papers are produced today with a creamy base other than fomatone?

Don't know, I never used it.
(It's quite expensive in "my" part of the world)
But if it does have one, we are currently on a total of two papers with creamy base.

Any Bergger with CB in the name is on a Cream Base.
Is that right?
Variable Cream Base Style = VCB S right?

Yes, it does. That's what I don't like so much about it. I prefer warmtone on a bright white paper.

Ilford Warmtone is not as creamy as it used to be but not completely white either.
Kentmere Kentona is also creamy.

There are more creamy papers available than I thought.
I suspect that foma mg131 is the same as fomatone mg classic?

How does Kentona compare to the Kentmere Warmtone VC fibre-base?

And, any recommendations for a warm paper with a bright white base (as spijker mentioned) ?

If you can wait a few more months Adox MCC111 is close to being released. It is a warmtone paper on a bright white base.

Can't tell about the Kentona/Warmtone VC, never tried the warmtone VC.

I couldn't say how many but have found that a creamy
base can be had from some papers by slightly under
fixing the paper. Some other papers produce a
gray base paper.

Might be interesting to selenium or other wise tone
those slightly under fixed prints. Dan

Actually, the Bergger CB papers aren't very creamy- they may not be the blinding white of Ilford MG IV, or the old Oriental Seagull, but they're nowhere near as creamy as the Foma.

Kentmere's VC paper Fineprint Warm, semi matt is on a 'cream' base.

The only real cream Foma paper in production is the Fomatone MG 532.
(5) = natural (3) = cream-colored (2) = matte

Fomatone MG 542 is chamois based (4) = chamois.

dont forget oriental wt. I wish Kentmere WT VC fiber wasn't on that matt surface. Makes it unusable to me. Is glossy available some where?

Varycon has a slightly warm look to it--not exactly creamy, but the fact that it doesn't have brighteners in it means that it doesn't stray into Seagull, or even Ilford MGIV territory for that matter. EMAKS is the same way as well.

I find varycon to be much too contrasty (at least the 200 sheets I've exposed), and not nearly as creamy as I would like to.
I've just ordered some Kentmere Fineprint Warmtone, and looking very much forward to try it out. I generally like semi-mat surfaces, so on paper (pun not intended) this should suit my needs perfectly.

I have found the Fotospeed papers to have a creamier base than comparable Ilford papers. Have only used their RC papers so can not comment on the FB variety.

For RC paper (I don't know if anyone here cares), Fuji's "Fujibro" FM (glossy) and KM (semi-glossy) are rather creamy-yellow white than regular white. They are graded papers, though.
