"How it's made"

How many of you watch the Discovery channels program, "How it's made"? Don't hold me to the title but it's what I believe its called. For those of you who don't know what I'm writing about let me share. Each episode has about three to four segments on how how things are made. From cheese to Helicopters. One time they did lenses. It was pretty neat on how the glass is grounded and shaped, the testing and the assembly.
At the end of each episode. It's announced if you wish to know more or have a suggestion, please contact them. I thought it would be fun to do an portion on large format cameras. My question to you all is who?

My 6 year old and I LOVE that show. The prolem is how late it is on around these parts, and it is past his bed time. Sometimes, on Fridays, We stay up and watch.

I think it would be cool to see the Canham cameras built. Just because of the 4x5 all metal camera.

it is an excellent show,however i dont think an episode on large format cameras would be interesting enough for tv,i would love to watch it.
however if you are to make a suggestion to them i think watching a 20x24 being made would be the most interesting especially if they showed it being tested and a look at the negative and contact print.sad that i missed the lens episode.i have watched woodworking tv in the past and some episodes were extremely boring that is why i think it would lack broad appeal for advertisers and a non photographic audience.hopefully i am wrong.

That show was great and it gives a good clue to why good lenses are expensive. A show with building a 20x24 camera would be very interesting. I would watch it.

I watched them make chains one night. A camera can compete with that. IMO it would be a hell of a lot more interesting.
