I plan to mount color prints. Has anybody tried Seal Colormount? how good is it? Any alternatives?

we have used it for years with RC papers and color for students. No problems that i am aware of. works fine.

I would turn the he down some on the press. Maybe 190f. That color paper could melt.

The Seal Colormount has a lower temperature rating for bonding to the print and mounting material for the exlusive reason stated by Lee above. Other than that it's the same material used in black and white mounting.

I have used Seal Colormount for both RC and Fiber prints. It has worked very well. I have also really cooked a few RC prints - turning down the heat is probably a good idea. - Frank
