How easy is it to find Omega d2 parts?

I'm considering purchase of an Omega d2 enlarger for use for my 35mm up to 4x5 negs.

How easy is it to find parts for these? Specifically I will need lensboards as this one does not come with them.

Am I correct in thinking that I need the bell type for a 135mm lens?

Are bulbs still readily available? Anything else I should be concerned about?

D2 compatible parts seem to pile up in drifts, I've discovered since acquiring a D-II. D2 parts are interchangeable with the D-II in general, and many are interchangeable with other models. You need the 2-1/2" cone for 135mm. The flat board is for lenses up to 105mm, and the 4-1/2" cone is for 150mm.

Lensboards, negative carriers, and oddball accessories are very easily located. The bulb is an ordinary enlarger bulb (211 if I remember correctly--it says on the plate on the head). My favorite negative carriers are the glass Rapid Shift carriers.

has everything you can think of, including a discussion board.
over the years i have bought things from him and while he isn't "cheap",
he used to work for omega and knows these enlargers backwards and forwards.

and while i haven't had a chance to use them, http://www.khbphotografix.com/ in canada also sells and repair omega enlargers. when i was searching for a working 5x7 negative carrier for my e4 ( mine was missing a few critical parts ) i contacted khb, and if i wasn't able to find what i needed, they were going to machine one for me for less than $50!

All the 6-element lenses from the major manufacturers are pretty good--Rodenstock Rodagon, Schneider Componon-S, and most of the EL Nikkors (though I had the 4-element 75mm EL Nikkor for a while, and it was a decent lens).

If you have the budget for an Apo-Rodagon or Apo-Componon, these are really outstanding, and are pretty good deals on the used market. I use 50mm and 90mm Apo-Rodagons and a 150mm Apo-Componon.

As mentioned by jnanian http://www.khbphotografix.com/ here in Canada is really good (sales service parts advice)and I have e-mailed back and forth with Harry at http://classic-enlargers.com/. He was most helpfull too.
For all the little extras (lensboards, lenses (lensi?) neg carriers, filters, etc, etc) ebay comes in pretty handy if you don't mind waiting. Parts are not too hard to come by (in my experience anyway).

I have used khb for service on my D2 and they have been very reliable for repairs. They are very helpful even when it just questions you have.
