Hey All,

I have recently delved into the more alternative side of analog photography. Lumens, paper negs, collodion, chemigrams etc

I came across this amazing thread where someone has listed some fine art photographer using paper negs/positives to create stunning work

Anwyays I really like Robert Calafiores work and he uses a pinhole camera and shoot's onto ra-4 paper. I luckily have a durst printo and develop + print ra-4 in my darkroom. My question is how does he get the effect, is he altering things in development or is he just shooting and developing per normal? Curious if anyone has any ideas

As I recall he talks in the video about very long exposures during which he is extremely busy burning and dodging the actual scene and selectively lighting various parts. Based on this I assumed that he just develops the paper normally, and that all the actual work is done in real life, with light, and not with changes to the chemistry.
