How does Ilford do it?

With at least one bath, Sistan protective bath, the formig of droplets even can be detrimental to the image over time, as the dry-concentration of substance in those places will by higher by magnitudes.

but the point of the surfactant is that there won't be droplets. I hang film to dry without any squeege type action after treatment with Photoflo in demin. Water. B/w prints go through Adostab (Agfa Sistan), which contains photoflo and colour prints through normal photoflo again. I hang up prints the same way as film, until dry. In case of fibre prints until the emulsion is dry, and then press drying between thick sheets of paper for acrylic paintings (same as delta drying book) and its no issue.

To squeegee or not to squeegee?
This is the most contusions issue in photo processing. Always has been always will be!

Yes, but as you see there are reports of hanging film even after a common final bath resulted in drying marks.

Seemingly one process works for some and not for others.

Add more drops of photo-flo. Leave the film soaking in it for at least 30 seconds.

You read my post and judged my character from your PERCEIVED idea of me, rather than actually responding to the real content. Put words in my mouth like 'hate'. Then, called me a name and accused ME of being immature?!

Jeremy, giving you the benefit of doubt, I reread both your post and my response, twice.

I'll stand by my post and if you chose to feel umbrage, that'll be your choice alone.

IMO.
