How do you upload non iphone (DSLR) images to Instagram?

It is a very basic question.... How do you upload non iphone (DSLR) images to Instagram? It looks like I can only upload images I have taken with my phone....Is that ture? Can I use an android phone?
I would like to upload my wedding photography work onto Instagram.
Please help!

Can I do it from a mac computer or I need a tablet or an iPhone for it?

Just save the images to your phone and then use the app to access the images on your phone.

I personally just use Dropbox to download them to the phone so I don't have to plug anything in and it just syncs with the cloud.

You can also email them to yourself and save the images to your phone that way.

But the idea of IG was supposed to be that it's live images in the moment that you're taking with the phone, they aren't supposed to be pro images, although now pro's do use the system, but that's why you can't just upload your images from the computer, you need a smartphone/tablet.

There are Apple apps that let you upload from your computer. Go to the Apple App Store.

There are several ways as mentioned. Two that I have used are: the "transfer" app which has to be on bothe the computer and phone letting you transfer both to the phone and from the phone to the computer and another would be to email from the computer to te phone.
