How do you apply mounting gel?

how do you apply mounting gel onto a negative or slide film? I have what looks like a normal 75ml toothpaste tube and funnel at the end like the ones you attach to a silicone guns.....can anyone show me via a YouTube link or web site how it's done?

I assume you are asking about mounting film to the drum of your scanner. Try Aztek.com - they have a mounting video. It shows how to use Kami fluid, which is volatile, not a gel. but the principle is probably pretty much the same. Takes practice...
