How do I use this thing!!!

Speaking of PME meter finders, I just got one on Ebay. I am dumbfounded
about the number of Hassy equiptment I have picked up used without instruction manuals! Do people just throw them away or what? Now I have this finder and cannot do a thing with it. Can anyone lead me to a source on a manual (model #42293) or just email me with instructions on where the battery is and what kind of batteries they use.

I believe it was also know as the VFC-6 (others please correct me if I am wrong). http://www.craigcamera.com/ib_hass.htm has the instruction manual.
