easy to pick with a small stiff piece of wire. a hair grip for instance

I just found out I have just to move the ring down. :laugh:
Sorry for my stupidity

You may still ant to figure out a way to unlock it in case it ever does get locked, or I think you can super-glue the lock so it can't lock.

Interesting idea with cementing that lock. But actually I do not see how it could lock itself without a key operating it.
