Hello, I'm new to the forum.

• live in Brooklyn
• shooting off and on for around ten years
• 35mm and smaller formats, film and digital, fan of manual/simple cameras
  
• interested in learning more about photographic history/theory/books as a way to narrow my focus
• want to meet people in NYC who meet to talk about photography

Hi, and welcome. We used to be called APUG. I think I'm allowed to say that. I only discovered this place in 2005 and now I call it home. I love NYC. It's my second favourite city in the USA after Chicago.

Photrio is a new site recently formed by combining two older photo forums, APUG and DPUG (Analogue Photo Users Group and Digital Photo Users Group). That's why you didn't know of the place till recently; its only a couple weeks old!
