Pete;

Is this old or new Tri-X? That is, how old is it? Film kept spooled and refrigerated or frozen for a long time will develop a 'set' that causes it to curl as you describe.

The Kodak conditioning is at 75F/50% RH. This is optimum.

I've tried it with some 1991 vintage film (not stored anything close to properly) and brand new stuff from the camera store. Both produced identical results.

I'll note that temperature; it was probably 62-64* in the room I hung it in to dry (keep the house pretty cool during the winter to save $$$ on heating!)
