Horseman VH lost light trap around matte screen replacement?

Unfortunately, the light seal/light trap on the back of my Horseman VH is missing.
This is the contact surface between the film cassette/matte screen and the camera body. Presumably, there was some kind of velvet seal there?

What does the original look like? Can someone please upload photos here? Including details?

Idea: The surrounding groove is 2 mm deep. It could be lined with thicker double-sided adhesive tape. Then a layer of black velvet-coated foil on top. The thickness should be a little higher, perhaps 200 microns?

What is the correct way to do this?

This is the kind of thing @B.S.Kumar knows right off the top of his head; perhaps if he's around he's willing to share some insight.

I took a look at my VH. The material in there is fairly degraded, nonetheless, I've never had a light leak. The material between the two vertical metal bars on the open end is no longer higher than the metal bars, so effectively does nothing. The rest--the big C shaped chanel around the other three sides--is foam that sits a fair bit higher than the adjacent metal, maybe .3mm (eyeball guess) but is soft foam that compresses easily. The important point is that however much higer than the metal it is, it needs to easily compress so the film holder or roll back can full seat on the metal, since that positions the film at the right depth to match the ground glass. Also, you don't want so much foam there that it spreads out while compressing and potentially gets pinched between the metal surface and the film holder I'd say your guess of .2mm would work well.

My VH-R's had black foam that went south a few years ago. I cut 2.5mm foam and replaced all of it. It was pretty easy.
