horseman 8x8cm lensboard's question

Hi everyone,
I am looking for a 8x8 lensboard for the horseman 45fa.
On ebay there is a chinese store that sells them for not so much, 25 dollar. BUt I am sure they are no original horseman boards. Is that a problem?

I could always go to calumet or something, but they ask 80 dollar... what would be a better choice.

It is unlikely to be a problem. I have bought Chinese-made lensboards for my FA (not from this guy admittedly) and they have been fine. It isn't exactly a high-tech item!

If you decide to buy, please let us know what they are like.

I bought it just a minute ago, it'll arive in 10 days probably. By the time it does i'll let you know how I feel about the item.
by saying it is not exactly high tech item you mean the original is much greater, or do you mean that since it's a lensboard, it doesn't really matter...

Since it is only a lensboard, it doesn't really matter. People make them at home out of plywood. So long as it is flat and the right size, it should do the job.
