I put this together mainly for close-up shots like portraits and flowers and old boots and stuff, art photography mostly. Because of the weight I would be inclined to keep this indoors or close to the car. I waited until I was absolutely sure this needed to go before I listed it, and I’m having second thoughts as I type this. Oh well. It is an 8x10 Horseman LX with Borosilicate ground glass with clipped corners and 1” grid lines & 40 inch bellows
Also includes:
Horseman LX Instruction Manual
BTZS Focusing Hood Like New
BTZS software disc and Palm device with cables
Stouffer 4x5 Transmission Projection Step Wedge
Beyond The Zone System book Third Edition
The Book of Pyro 1992
The Darkroom Cookbook with notes
notebook on Pyro positives with recipes I had been working on
19 3/4” Kodak Copying Ektanon with caps and board
210mm G-Claron with caps and board
Extra rail tops for additional extension
Bellows rail support
Tape measure added to the rear standard for extension measurement
Majestic tripod
Majestic Head
Majestic side arm
Horseman compendium lens shade
Domke Photogs Vest size 2 which is about a med
About 60+ 8x10 negative sheets
DDX liter x2
Ilford Fix liter x2
The ladder in the photo is (not included but for reference only) a 6 foot stepladder and in the photo with that sidearm there is 20lbs of weight (not included) on the opposite leg and it’s still lifting up a bit. I would not actually use the camera boomed out as pictured but I wanted to show the set-up clearly. Normally I would boom it over a leg if possible. This is all in good user condition and I really hate to see it go, but oh well.

I think I have listed it all but I will go over everything again in the morning to make sure. This is heavy and will cost quite a bit to ship, I will ship the tripod in one box and the camera & lenses etc in another.

In the past people have asked me for exact shipping costs to various locales around the world and each of those requests is a trip to the post office. I will not be able to accommodate these requests with this sale, so I will estimate high shipping and refund the difference or request the balance for the purchaser.

$3000.00 plus shipping

if this price is out of line let know

I forgot, when disassembled the camera and lenses fit inside this Zero Halliburton suitcase, in fact the camera is packed inside awaiting shipping. The case is about 9" x 18" x 26"

wow,
this is a pretty freakishly good deal! I don't think I could afford to keep a third large format camera, but for anyone wanting to own an 8x10 camera this would be an awesome package

Wow, that's almost in the affordable-range (and definitely a great deal). Too bad it'd cost about that much again to get it to this side of the world...

I have just bought a 24" Red Dot Artar I want to add to this because it can totally handle the length even relatively close-up.

I am interested in trading for a Nikon Digital D800E or similar and / or Nikon Primes & SB's etc

This is still for sale but I want to get it moving.
